The bridesmaids you choose are hopefully people that love and support you and have the best of intentions on your special day! Here's a few mistakes that are common in the shopping process for Bridesmaids dresses.

Mistake #1: You're not Taking the lead with decision making

Don't forget that you are the bride while it is necessary to ask your bridesmaids their opinion about what they will be wearing on your wedding day. It also isn't necessary or possible to appease everyone’s personality and personal style. As the bride you get the final say don't be afraid to assert your vision. Just do it in a way that lets your bridesmaids know that you have heard their concerns and opinions. At the end of the day if you want a uniform look as long as it flatters the body types in your bridal party that is more than ok! The people you have chosen to stand with you on your special day are there to support you. Keep important factors like budget and body type in mind.

Tip #1: Avoid Conflict with Guidlines

To avoid conflicts, you can choose a color and fabric type in a line of bridesmaid’s dresses like Allure Bridesmaids and your bridesmaids can pick their own styles. This is a popular decision with brides that don't mind her bridesmaids not looking completely uniform.

Mistake #2: Giving too much freedom

If you give your bridesmaids too much freedom in the dress choices, you can end up with a mix and match of the worst kind. Mismatched bridesmaids! The Shades of your chosen color can be off if everyone doesn’t order at the same time from the same designer. Mixing lengths of dresses too much may not translate well in photographs and mixing fabrics can also look like you have bridesmaids all going to different weddings

Tip #2: Give the gift of bling

If you choose to let your bridal party choose their own dresses so the styles are different then make sure to tie them back together with matching accessories and shoes or even hairstyles if possible. To guarantee that your bridesmaids all have the same accessories gifting them to your bridesmaids is always a nice idea a thank you gift for being there for you on the big day.

Mistake #3:  Asking Everyone you know to be in your wedding

If you have a large family and many friends and your fiancé has many friends along with a large family. Choosing your bridal party can be a daunting task. Just because you have many amazing people in your life doesn't mean they all need to be in your wedding! Imagine having to wrangle a large number of bridesmaids and groomsmen its exhausting. Keep things manageable for yourself and the other's involved. Keep it down to super close-knit friends and family or maybe just family or just friends. The entire point of bridesmaids is having a support system throughout the wedding planning process.

tip #3: Ask A few people that really care

1: Being in a wedding is a large expense can all of your bridesmaid "Candidates" Swing it? 2: Is this person a team player? (If they aren't you may want to avoid the headache by not inviting them to be a part of the wedding party but just as a wedding guest.) 3: Does your fiancé have as many groomsmen as you have bridesmaids? An uneven bridal party isn't necessarily a bad thing but in photos it looks better to have symmetry. 4: A smaller wedding party means less personalities and people to manage and all that equals less stress for the bride and groom!
