Sounds like much less stress then waiting and hoping for your dress to arrive on time.

There are so many styles and colors to choose from how do you even begin to narrow it down? By trying them on of course! I will tell you that things can be altered to fit your vision and comfort level. If you fall in love with a strapless dress and it fits you perfectly, but strapless dresses are the bane of your existence because you feel like there’s not enough support or whatever it is that bothers you. Straps can be added.... sleeves can be added. Why try to recreate the feeling of your perfect dress when you can just add what you feel its missing? Unless of course the dress designer makes multiple versions of the same design with small differences like necklines and straps. While shopping for your dress just keep your mind open to all the possibilities.
Being an early shopper is so much better than being late to the game. Since a lot of stores register their dresses to minimize the chances of you showing up to your prom in the same dress as someone else the earlier you shop the wider the selection you have to choose from is. It makes life easier and stress free. Your giving yourself the security and instead of scrambling at the last moments trying to get in somewhere to get your dressed hemed or straps adjusted.
